Letters are symbols, and language is a code. This project was about identifying creations with the mark of a maker.
The first portion of this project was to create the maker’s mark itself. We went through an ideation process akin to developing a brand identity, only this time we had to fit the logo to the limitations of our brass plug and the capabilities of the CNC. The Maker’s Mark project objective was to create a symbol that held some personal significance. I decided to make something that could hold future meaning, rather than past.
